Lifetime Support
At Royal Saint Bernards, our relationship with you doesn’t end when your puppy goes home—it truly begins there. As responsible breeders, devoted dog lovers, and experienced trainers, we take great pride in the wellbeing of every puppy we raise. While we do everything possible to ensure our Saint Bernards are healthy and happy, we understand that certain factors—such as genetics, nutrition, exercise, and overall care—are beyond our full control.
In the unlikely event that something goes wrong and the situation falls outside the scope of our health guarantee, we still remain committed to supporting you. We cannot promise that your puppy will never experience a health issue, but we can promise to stand by you and help ensure your new companion receives the best care possible.
Our Health Guarantee
Although no puppy can ever truly be replaced, we understand that the comfort of a new companion can help ease the pain of loss. Our Wellbeing Assurance includes the following:
-
If a puppy passes away due to a confirmed genetic condition within the first few years of life, or if an inherited issue is diagnosed by an approved veterinarian within two years, we will provide a replacement puppy of equal value at no cost to you.
-
If a genetic condition results in the death of a puppy within ten years of birth, and this is confirmed by a licensed veterinarian, we will reimburse 70% of the original purchase price toward a new puppy of equal value.
What We Ask of You
We are committed to your puppy’s long-term health, and we ask for your partnership in maintaining it. Please ensure the following:
-
Provide us with a copy of your puppy’s initial veterinary assessment (clinical record) within two business days of adoption. This must be completed by a licensed veterinarian.
-
Your puppy will leave our care with age-appropriate and progressive vaccinations. To avoid over-vaccination, please do not administer additional shots within the first 10 days of bringing your puppy home.
-
Follow your veterinarian’s recommended schedule for ongoing vaccinations, deworming, and routine checkups beginning no later than nine weeks of age.
-
We guarantee your puppy is vaccinated and dewormed prior to leaving our home.
Health Guarantee Limitations
Our guarantee focuses on genetic health and does not cover:
-
Temperament, adult size, weight, coat color, markings, or trainability
-
Conditions influenced by external factors such as poor diet, lack of exercise, or inadequate care
-
Conditions common to certain breeds (e.g., hip dysplasia in dogs that become overweight)
